Who we are
Stratyx Website Rebuild builds and hosts websites for local businesses, at rebuild.stratyxventures.com. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Stratyx Website Rebuild, and “you” means anyone who visits our pages or a site we host, orders a website from us, or writes to us.
The company behind Stratyx Website Rebuild is Stratyx Ventures LLC, registered in Florida.
This policy covers this website, the preview and sample sites we show, the business websites we host for our customers and the forms on them, our checkout and intake form, each customer’s private manage page, and email you send us about the service.
What we collect
- When you visit any page we host, including our customers’ websites: our host, Vercel, automatically records technical request data, such as your IP address, your browser, the page address, and the page that linked you there.
- When a preview site, a sample site, or a customer’s website opens: the page tells our database that it was viewed. The record holds the site, the time, and the page that linked you there, and on a preview site any campaign tag on the link. It also holds a one-way code made from your IP address, never the address itself, which we use to limit repeated requests. So that one visit counts once, the page keeps a small note in your browser’s session storage. Session storage is not a cookie, and your browser normally clears it when you close the tab.
- When you use the claim button on a preview site: we record the click the same way.
- When you ask us a question on a preview site: your question and the email address or phone number you give us, recorded the same way.
- When you send a quote request on a customer’s website: your name, your phone number, and your message, with the same one-way code.
- When you order a website or claim a preview: Stripe runs the checkout page and collects your payment details. We never see your card number. Stripe sends us the details you enter there (your name, email address, phone number, and any business name or website), what you paid, whether you accepted our terms, and the identifiers of your Stripe customer record and subscription, which we keep to match your monthly payments to your site.
- When you fill in our intake form: your answers, such as the domain you want, the services to feature, the cities you serve, your license number, how long you have been in business, what you would like your site to say about you, and anything to remove, and the photos you upload.
- When you request a change on your manage page: what you write, with the same one-way code made from your IP address.
- When you email us: everything in your email, including your address, the subject, the message, and any attachments.
Please leave passwords, account numbers, and other sensitive details out of our forms and your emails.
What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or analytics tools on our pages or on the sites we host. Apart from the view records described above, we do not count visits.
- Our code sets no cookies.
- We do not sell your information or share it with anyone for their marketing.
Our pages load their fonts and code from our own host. Photos that come from elsewhere are fetched by our host and served to you from there, so opening a page does not contact other companies. The checkout page is Stripe’s own site, and the intake form is Tally’s.
How we use it
We use what we collect to run the sites we host and keep them secure, to build, launch, and change our customers’ websites, to bill for them, and to answer you.
- View records give each customer a count of the visits to their site on their manage page, and show us which preview sites have been opened.
- A question you ask on a preview site goes to our team, so we can answer it.
- A quote request goes to the business whose site you used: we email it to them and list it on their manage page. That business decides how to reply and what it does with your details, and its own privacy practices apply to that.
- Order details let us set up your site, send you our intake form and the link to your manage page, and match your monthly payments to your site.
- Your intake answers and photos are what we build your site from.
- The one-way code made from your IP address lets us limit how often the same visitor can send a form, so our forms can’t be used to flood anyone.
How we use AI
We use Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. It helps us write the text of the websites we build, from the details we have about the business, such as its name, address, hours, services, rating, and the reviews customers have left for it. It reads each change request you send from your manage page, together with your site’s current text, to draft the edit. Our team reviews a drafted edit before it goes live when Claude is unsure of it, or when it touches your phone number, license, address, rating, or review count, and Claude never changes what a review says. It also helps us read some of the email sent to us and draft our replies, and a member of our team approves every reply before it goes out. We never send Claude payment details.
Who handles it for us
A few companies run parts of the service for us. Each has its own privacy policy, linked below.
- Vercel hosts our pages and the sites we host, runs our code, and fetches the photos our pages show. Read Vercel’s privacy notice.
- Supabase hosts our database, which holds the records this page describes, and stores the copies of your uploaded photos that your site shows. Read Supabase’s privacy policy.
- Stripe runs our checkout and our customers’ monthly subscriptions. Read Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Tally runs our intake form and keeps the photos you upload through it. Read Tally’s privacy policy.
- Resend sends the emails our service sends, such as the intake email, change confirmations, and the quote requests we forward to businesses. Read Resend’s privacy policy.
- Anthropic provides Claude, as described above. Read Anthropic’s privacy policy.
- Slack carries our team’s notices about orders, questions, intake forms, change requests, and problems, with the details we need to act on them. Read Slack’s privacy policy.
- ImprovMX forwards email sent to our stratyxventures.com addresses to our mailbox, and Google hosts that mailbox. Read ImprovMX’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
If we register a domain for you, the registrar receives the owner details a registration requires. We may also share information with our lawyer or accountant when we need their advice, or disclose it when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep a site’s records, including its content and photos, view records, questions, quote requests, and change requests, for as long as we host the site and for two years after it comes down, then delete them. We keep email for two years after our last exchange. We keep payment records for as long as tax law requires. The companies listed above keep their own records, such as delivery and request logs, for periods they set themselves.
Your choices
Email us at info@stratyxventures.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that the request comes from you. If you sent a quote request through a customer’s website, the business you contacted has its own copy, so ask them too.
When we delete your information, we delete it from our own records unless the law requires us to keep it. Copies in our providers’ logs and backups expire on their own schedules.
Do Not Track signals
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing changes on our pages, because we do not track visitors across other websites.
Children
Our service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
